As an artist, my practice begins with walking; meandering along beaches, clambering over rocks, wandering through woodland, anywhere that allows me to immerse myself in nature, absorbing the landscape on foot.

Documenting these places through drawing, photography, gathering artefacts, scientific information and stories inspire the collages, prints and books that I make.

As well as being based on the coast, gentle adventures around the UK in my converted van are a vital part of my artistic process. Responding to the unique landscapes I encounter, creates work that is deeply connected to the environment, history and present day of a particular place.
